Obituary
Tremaine Blakley (Toke) was born on September 6, 1971, to the union of Mr. Horace and Mrs. Minnie Blakley. Our beloved Tremaine departed this life on May 22, 2022, at the UAB Palliative Care and Comfort Unit (Spain Clinic) in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his daughter Charmaine LaQuinta Blakley, brother Gerald Blakley, paternal grandparents Pink and Alice Blakley, and maternal grandparents Nathaniel and Abbie Lee Harbin.
Tremaine joined the Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, attended Lisman Junior High School, graduated from Choctaw County High School (Class of 1989), completed an Associates Degree in Pulp and Paper Technology, labored at Mannington Floors for several years, and worked at Gulf States/WestRock for 27 years. In addition to being employed, Tremaine was an entrepreneur and founder/co owner with his brother Terrelle Blakley of Perfection Lawn Care and T & T ATV Park, Lisman, Alabama.
Tremaine leaves to cherish his precious memories, Two Children: Jermaine Blakley and Angelica Gibson; Parents: Horace and Minnie Blakley, Lisman, Alabama; Two Brothers: Horace Blakley, Jr. (Jackie) Birmingham, Alabama, and Terrelle Blakley (Avis) Lisman, Alabama; One Sister: Tatshum Nichelle Johnson (Jeffrey) Pelham, Alabama; Companion Gwendolyn Blakley, Birmingham, Alabama, and a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, relatives, and friends.
