Tobe Bush, Jr.

Tobe Bush, Jr. of Yantley, Alabama died on September 2, 2023.  Tobe was born in Mt. Sterling, Alabama on November 19, 1946, to the late father: Tobe Bush, Sr., and mother: Mary Emma Bush.  He lived his life to the fullest, until the Lord called him home.

He worked at Georgia Pacific for 54 years.  He loved his family and friends dearly.

Survivors are: life-long wife, Katherine Bush of Yantley, AL; children: four daughters, Mary H. (Gary Roberts) Knott, Yantley, AL; Linda D. Watson of Meridian, MS; Helen D. Marshall of Boston, MA; Latonya (Terry) Cook of Lauderdale, MS.

Six sons: Charles A. (Stacy) Bush of Mt. Sterling, AL; Kenneth L. (Shonetha) Knott of Toomsuba, MS; Tobe III (Melissa) Bush of Tupelo, MS; Ronald L. (Arlisha) Bush of Yantley, AL; Timothy “O” B. Bush of Lisman, AL; Charles J. (Cindy) Knott of Tampa, FL.

Twenty-four grandchildren: Ventrell L. Ruffin, JiQuerine (Marcus) Ridgeway, Marquese J. Landrum, Kimbrielle Watson, all of Meridian, MS; Eric D. Landrum, Yantley, AL; Shaterra McKines, Tuscaloosa, AL; Jamarion M. Brown and Kyashia M. Brown of Toomsuba, MS; Elijah Marshall, JaBradon Marshall, and Jermiah Marshall of Boston, MA; Tashira S. Bush, Meridian, MS; Tierra S. Bush, Alexia S. Bush, and Ronald R. Bush of Yantley, AL; Terrianna Cook, Johathan Cook, Terry Cook, Jr., and Danyia Cook of Lauderdale, MS; Timothy Young, Philadelphia, MS; Noah William, Meridian, MS; Charles A. Bush, Jr., Mt. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tobe Bush, Sr., and Mary Emma Bush; two sisters, Emma Jean Johnson and Dorothy Bush; three brothers, Milton, Lovelle, and Joseph Bush, and twin girls.
