On January 19, 1953, Brother Thomas S. Ruffin known as, “T.S.”, was born to the late John Lewis Ruffin and Ardell Keeton Ruffin in Meridian, MS. Thomas was the youngest of five (5) children, with three siblings preceding him death.
Peacefully on Friday January 12, 2018 at the age of 64, Thomas sadly passed and entered into eternal peace.
Thomas S. Ruffin served as a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Yantley, AL. He joined Pleasant Hill at a young age and dedicated his life back to Christ and served as a faithful member of the choir, until his health permitted him to do so.
Thomas was united in Holy Matrimony to Linda Mae Delaine on September 15, 1993.
Thomas was a strong man with many endeavors of his life. He was a great cook, he loved to fish, and he sung until he could no longer sing. He was very talented with his hands. Thomas was employed with Atlas Roofing Company for many years as a machine operator.
He leaves to cherish his love and memories to his wife, Linda Mae Delaine Ruffin, Marietta, GA; six children, Damion Tyler, Meridian, MS; Crystal L. Graham, Meridian, MS; Jessica S. Delaine, Marietta, GA; Patrick R. Delaine, Marietta, GA; Patricia R. Delaine, Austell, GA; Tranekia Graham, Meridian, MS; four step-children; three grandchildren, Ja’Tavis Tyler, Elijah Cunningham and Michael Kai Delaine; one brother, Sammie Ruffin, Los Angeles, CA; two aunts, Rosie Holcombe and Lizzie Holcombe; one uncle, Green Lee Keeton, Sr.; father and mother-in-law, Rev. C.H. and Mattie Delaine, Cuba, AL; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; seven nieces, one special niece, Phyllis Campbell, Meridian, MS; two nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
