Robert Louis Thompson was born June 14,1946 to the late W.B. Thompson and Lula Massey Thompson in Mt. Sterling, Alabama. He departed this life on September 9, 2021.

He was proceeded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 grandchildren, his parents and grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memories 3 children: Ronnie Thompson Sr. (Kim), Gloria J. Dozier, and Charles Chaney (Dianne), three sisters: Willard T. Cooper, Claretta Jordan, and Brendlyn Tamplin, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
