Reginald Harbin, Sr. Obituary

Reginald Tyrone Harbin, Sr. was born December 3, 1963 in Lisman, Alabama to the late L.J. and Ola B. Harbin.

He devoted his life to Christ at an early age and joined the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  He was educated in the Choctaw County School System.  In 1981, he joined the United States Army and upon graduation in 1982, he began his military career in Fort Knox, Kentucky.  In 1983, his first child was born.  It was a bouncing baby girl, and on December 22, 1984, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Gloria Thompson.

In 1986, he moved to Detroit, Michigan and began working for APCOA Parking and later went to work for Miller Parking, where during this time his two sons were born.  In 1994, Reginald moved back to Lisman, Alabama.  Several years later, he moved to Meridian, Mississippi and began working for DHL Courier Service until they closed.  He loved hanging out with friends, and this is where he met Lenora Jennings, whom he loved for the 17 years.  He later worked for NTS Water Association as a technician, where he was a hardworking and dedicated worker, until he passed away on May 13, 2020.  He loved his children and his family.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: one daughter, Zjockleen Harbin-Coley (Darian) of Detroit, Michigan; two sons, Reginald Tyrone Harbin, Jr. and Dominique Alexander, both of Butler, Alabama; two granddaughters, Zhanyla Coley of Detroit, Michigan and Normani Harbin of Meridian, Mississippi; his longtime girlfriend, Lenora Jennings of Meridian, Mississippi; five siblings, James Ray (Anetha) Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; Lionel (Jaimee) Harbin of Pelham, Alabama; Jessie Mae Harbin, Debbie Harbin (Keith) and Glenda (Armand) Harrison, all of Lisman, Alabama; a special devoted uncle, Roosevelt Pringle; a devoted cousin, James Earl Pringle; a very close friend, Fred Franklin; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
