McArthur Brown

Mr. McArthur Brown, 80, passed away November 4, 2023, in Chattanooga TN.

McArthur retired from Wheland Foundry after 30 years of service. He loved playing Dominoes with his friends.

McArthur was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball and Alabama football fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Brown; his parents, Louise and Andrew Brown; a daughter, Charity Joann Brown; siblings, Grady Brown, Benjamin Brown, Willie Brown, Sr., Andrew Brown, Charlie Brown, Cornelius Brown, Robert Evans, Lula Brown, Liona Ruffin, and Ora Coleman; great grandson, Taki Brown.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories three daughters, Phyllis (Michael) Flanagan, Lisa (Charles) Lovelace, and Taketa (Dexter) Brown; siblings, Leonard (Mary) Brown, Robert (Oranne) Brown, Phyllis Brown, Mary Hodges, and Lanette Grice. special friend, Emma Allen; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother-in-law, Johnny Hollie; sisters-in-law, Melba DuBose, Melinda Ruffin, Ruby Ivey, and Sophia Hollie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
