Mary Lee Napier was born February 8, 1943 in Butler, Alabama. She was the oldest of ten children.
Mary worked in nursing homes as an STNA and was employed as a housekeeper before retiring. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, traveling, and loved her cats.
She was a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church.
Mary married Albert Charles Napier in July, 1997.
She is survived by her pride and joy, son, Tommie L. (Mary) Pope; three grandsons, Thomas Pope, Jonathan Pope, and Kenneth Pope; three brothers, George Pope, Don (Linda) Pope, and Frank Pope; three sisters, Clara Johnson, Barbara (William) Johnson, Geraldine (Melvin) Tharps, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary Napier was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Charles Napier; parents, Grover Pope and Willie Mae Crumbley; brothers, Johnny Pope, Bobbie Vance, and Julius Pope.
