Mary Kate (Graham) Mitchell

Mary Kate Mitchell was born on July 08, 1946, to the late Annie Mae Graham and stepfather, Joseph Graham, Sr. in Lisman, Alabama.

Mary Kate joined Shiloh CME Church at an early age.  She attended Shiloh Public School (housed in Shiloh CME Church).

She worked as a Personal Health Aide for many years.  She attended Shiloh CME until her health began to fail.  Mary Kate was also a regular attendee of the Lisman Senior Center.

Mary Kate entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 05, 2024, at the Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi.

Mary Kate was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Graham; stepfather, Joseph Graham, Sr.; her daughter, Dorothy Graham; her grandson, Laderrick Graham; her two brothers, Hurie Lee Graham and James T. Graham.

Mary Kate leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Willie (Barbara) Ruffin of Meridian, Mississippi; Robert Graham of Lisman, Alabama; one daughter, Sharon (Henry) Graham of Huntsville, Alabama; four granddaughters, Ladaysha (Billy) Graham-Maye of Lisman, Alabama; Simone Starks of Huntsville, Alabama; Alana Ruffin of Meridian, Mississippi; Summer Starks of Huntsville, Alabama; one great-granddaughter, A’Nivia Gowdy of Meridian, Mississippi; two great-grandsons, Jayceon Maye of Lisman, Alabama and Cameron Burton of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, Joseph Graham of Lisman, Alabama; Edward (Lucy) Graham of Meridian, Mississippi; a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.  We all love her, but God loves her best.
