John Maurice Williams was born on July 2, 1974, to Jessie Spears Williams and Bennie Ruffin in Butler, Alabama. He was also blessed to have Willie Williams, Sr. as a father.
He departed life on June 30, 2023, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi.
He was added to the body of Christ and was a member of the Northside Church of Christ.
Throughout life, he was a hardworking man, having many jobs. He started working for the York Ice Company in 1999 and worked until August 2017 as a route manager.
He kept himself busy with many hobbies such as cleaning fish, playing cards, watching sports, making CD’s and entertaining family and friends. He was a huge fan of Alabama football!
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents, Willie and Jessie Williams, Sr.; three children; John Jackson, Raphael Johnson and Johnketta Williams; three grandchildren; Deonjae Jackson, Selena Ford and Korianna Mullen; five sisters; Brenda Williams, Bridget Williams, Shaquanda (Roosevelt) Thompson, Calandria Johnson, and Antrania (Maurice) Conyers; two brothers; Willie Williams, Jr. and Cortney Ruffin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Bennie Ruffin; Godparents, John and Ada Mae Bolden; and caregiver, Benny Keeton.
