George Cleveland McRae

George Cleveland McRae was born to the late Al Junior McRae and Georgia Mae Gordon on May 27, 1964 in Yantley, AL. 

He was baptized at an early age and united with the Mt. Mariah Baptist Church. He was employed at Structural Steel as well as an entrepreneur. He was well known to do whatever he could do for anyone. George was a lover of life and loved to have fun. 

George transitioned this life Wednesday December 30 at his residence in Meridian MS. 

He leaves to cherish a loving mother Georgia Mae McRae, one daughter Roxie Ezell Meridian MS, two granddaughters Ty’Nesha Ezell and Ja’Miracle Perrien both Meridian MS. Sisters, Ira Jean Cole Las Vegas NV, Pearlie Mae Reed Yantley AL, Fannie (Ronny) Reed Yantley AL, Doris Smith Chicago IL, Gloria Ann McRae Jachin AL, Helen (Ted) Curry Little Rock AR and Versa Ruffin Anniston AL.  Brothers, Alvin McRae preceded him in death. Ronny (Callie) McRae Yantley AL, Samuel (Mildred) Holcombe Cleveland OH, Jimmy (Ethel) Merritt Grand Rapid MI. Three aunts, Daisy McRae New Orlean LA, Edna McRae Yantley AL and Daisy Safford Los Angeles CA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. A special friend Catherine King of Meridian MS.
