Felton Wallace was born December 29, 1947 to Deacon Curvin and Mae Holland Wallace. He was called home on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Sumter Health and Rehab in York, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curvin and Mae Holland Wallace; a son, Thomas Johnson; a granddaughter, Charlee Fenderson; and seven siblings.
Felton joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Choctaw County Training School in Lisman, AL. As a teenager, he moved to Florida where he lived for many years. After returning to Alabama, he was employed at James River Corp and later worked as an assistant carpenter.
Felton leaves to cherish his memories: four children, Kimberly Wallace of Birmingham, AL, Reginald (Sharon) Harris of Meridian, MS, Kenya Wallace of Butler, AL, and Courtney Wallace of Montgomery, AL; one brother, Brooks (Lucy) Wallace of Louin, MS; one sister, Geneva Holt of Linden, AL; four grandchildren, Reginald Jr, Mia, Kimora, and Jer’Mireon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, including special nephews, Marvin, Stevie, Mark, Terrance and Alex and a special great nephew, Jason.
