Elaine (Coleman) Richardson

Ms. Elaine C. Richardson was born on January 31, 1947 in Choctaw County, AL.  She was the daughter of the late Henry Coleman, Sr. and Willie Pearl Bennett Coleman.  Elaine accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined John the Baptist Church, Halsell, AL.  She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Dillard Richardson.  To this union, two children were born.

On January 30, 2022, she departed her earthly life and found peace when God took her hand and whispered, “Sleep On”, your time has come, and your life on earth is done.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Richardson; her parents, Henry Coleman, Sr. and Willie Pearl Bennett Coleman; one sister, Shirley Johnson; three brothers, Henry Coleman, Jr., Bobby Lee Coleman and Simmie Lee Coleman.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Glenease Williams (Demark) of Chicago, IL and Sarita Richardson of Lisman, AL; five grandchildren, Shamarcus Richardson (Kimberly) of Montgomery, AL; Saquitta Richardson of Tuscaloosa, AL; Shamekia Williams (Demarcus) of Athens, GA; Shakelia Williams (Jameel) of Aurora, IL and James C. Richardson (Catia) of Tulsa, Ok; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Glenda Noble (Jimmy) of Chicago, IL; one aunt, Leola Mae Portis, Ward, AL; four sisters-in-law, Eva Thompkins of Lisman, AL; Sarah Okpulor of Austell, GA; Jeanette Brackett (Kenny) of Austell, GA and Coney McIntosh of Lisman, AL; two brothers-in-law, Lindsey McIntosh (Sheila) of Lithonia, GA and Edward McIntosh (Paulette) of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
