Delois Riley was born to the late Henry and Mandy Helms on February 11, 1926 in Arkansas. The Lord called Delois home and she entered her eternal resting place on May 26, 2020 at the Choctaw Health & Rehab facility in Butler, AL.
She was a loving mom and raised five kids. Delois also worked in a domestic capacity most of her life and raised several kids as her own. She was known for her feisty & sassy personality and had a sense of humor that was appreciated by everyone and never met a stranger.
Delois was preceded in death by her parents Henry & Mandy Helms, her husband John Riley, Sr., her sister Willie Ford and 1 grandson, Rodney Gamble, 3 nephews, Henry (June) Ford, Elliott Ford, and Bobby Ford.

Sterling, AL & Veronica Cowan of Lisman, AL, 3 nephews, Murray (Doris) Ford of Butler, AL, Sam (Bessie) Ford of Butler, AL, Jimmy Harris, 1 niece, Pauline Jordan of Butler, AL, 13 grandkids, Latronda Riley of Birmingham, AL, Tony Riley of Pennington, AL, Keisha Riley of Pennington, AL, Kendrick Riley of Aurora, IL, LaQuesha (Billie) Williams of Birmingham, AL, Bryan Riley of Aurora, IL, Kierra Riley of Calera, AL, Brandon Winston of Butler, AL, Jennifer Sewell of Butler, AL, Christopher Sewell of Butler, AL, Jordan Pope of Tuscaloosa, AL, Christian Pope of Tuscaloosa, AL & Rickayla Riley of Columbus, Georgia, and a host of great-grandchildren.
