He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory 1 brother Steve (Patricia) Rainey of Zachary, LA; and 5 sisters: Mary (James) Wood of Sacramento, CA; Lillie Rainey of Butler, AL; Willie (Anderson) Lake of Lisman, AL; Letha Rainey of Birmingham, AL; Denise (Henry) Williams of Pinson, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
