Sis. Abbie Lee Pearson Harbin was born August 30, 1915, to the Late Coleman and Bessie Rodgers Pearson of Melvin, Alabama. She was the eldest of her siblings: Woodrow Pearson, T.C. Pearson, Lorene Reed, Mexie G. Rodgers, and Logan Rodgers; all preceded her in death. Her stepmother, Varma Pearson, and stepsiblings: Annette Reid, Waymond (Bill) Pearson, and Elmer Pearson preceded her in death.
She was married to the love of her life, the Late Nathaniel Harbin of Riderwood, Alabama. To this union, eleven children were born. Four children preceded her in death: Baby Willie Harbin, Ollie Mae Corley, Ada Rose (Dorothy) Harbin, and Claudia Harbin Smith. Grandson Gary Harbin, whom she reared as her own, and two stepchildren, Eddie D. Brown and Booker T. Harbin, preceded her in death.
Accepting Christ at an early age, Abbie became a Mt. Miriah Baptist Church member in Melvin, Alabama. After the death of her beloved Nathan, her eldest son moved the family to Trinity, Texas. She united with the Mt. Siniah Baptist Church and attended until she was brought back to Riderwood, Alabama to live with her daughter and caretaker, Annie Bush.

Cornelius Harbin, Murray Harbin (Felisha), Juanita Harbin, Trinity, Texas; Eugene Harbin (Sheila), Houston, Texas; Annie Bush, Riderwood, Alabama; Minnie Blakley (Horace), Lisman, Alabama; step-daughter Ethel Mae Carter, Meridian, Mississippi; 3 brothers, Clamas Pearson (Essie), Mexie Pearson, James Pearson, Melvin, Alabama; Louise McGrew (Bert), Mobile, Alabama; Jeanette Harris (CJ), Flint, Michigan; 34 grandchildren, 104 great-grandchildren, 68 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
