Jessie Walker, Jr.

Jessie Walker, Jr., was born on December 29, 1935: the third of three children to be born to the late Mandy Russell Walker and the late Jessie Walker, Sr.

At an early age, Jessie united with West Bend Baptist Church, Coffeeville, AL.  He attended public school and retired as a logger.

He was united in marriage to Tossie Rainey, who preceded him in death.  One brother, Frank (Red) Russell, Sr. preceded him in death.

On Monday morning, July 16, 2018 at Willow Trace Nursing Home, Butler, AL; the Lord called home the spirit of Mr. Jessie Walker, Jr., away to a land that is free of all sickness, suffering, pain and death.

He leaves to mourn his death and cherish his memories, one loving sister, Lillie Mae Norwood, Mobile, AL: (Mr. Jessie always called her sister), one aunt, Ernestine Barney Russell, Mt. Vernon, AL; a very special devoted and honorable sister-in-law, Minnie Barney Russell, Coffeeville, AL; (Mr. Jessie never called her by name, always my sister-in-law); a special friend, Mr. Vernon Harbin, two great nephews, Jamale Bass and Jacob Russell, a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
