Fannie M (Holcombe) Bellamy

Mrs. Fannie M. Bellamy was born on February 15, 1951 to the late Chester and Mamie Holcombe.  She departed this life at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones on July 31, 2018.

Fannie was a native of Choctaw County, Alabama.  She graduated from Choctaw County Training School, class of 1970.  After graduating, she joined the U.S. Army and retired after serving twenty-one years.  She earned her B.S. degree from the University of Houston.  She was employed at the Houston Veteran Affairs until her retirement.

Fannie leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of 33 years, Samuel Bellamy; two step children, Beverly Miles and Michael Bellamy; one brother, Stanley Holcombe, preceded her in death.  She is survived by nine siblings, Vivian Williams of Knoxville, TN, Chester Holcombe (Ann) of Akron, OH, Thomas Holcombe of Anderson, Indiana, Dezia Ezell, Essie Ezell (Albert), Barney Holcombe (Ella), Ken Holcombe (Kaycee), Shelia Luden and Chris Holcombe (Priscilla) all of Lisman, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
