Samuel Lee Jenkins was born to the late Frances C. Jenkins and the late Raymond Watkins on March 27, 1961.
He was raised by his mother and late step-father, Aaron Kennedy.
He was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Miller, Alabama at an early age. He later joined Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert L. Webb, Sr.
In 1989, he met the love of his life, Fannie. They were joined in Holy Matrimony on June 30, 1995.
He is survived by his devoted, loving and supportive wife of 27 years; one (1) daughter, Ashley Gordon (Roderick) Gordon, Columbus, Ohio; two (2) step-daughters, Cheryl (Green) Keeton, Angela (Reginald-deceased) Dixon, both of Yantley, Alabama; one (1) step-son, Robert Harbin, Georgia; six (6) grandchildren, eight (8) great-grandchildren; four (4) brothers, Daril Kennedy, Dixons Mills, Alabama; Kenneth (Regina) Kennedy, Magnolia, Alabama; Clyde Watkins, Pensacola, Florida; Johnny (Laura) Watkins, Birmingham, Alabama; four (4) sisters, Pennie (Curtis) Brenson, Silver Spring, Maryland; Karen (Jeffery) Robinson, Jackson, Alabama; Eunice Kennedy and Chris Robinson, both of Baltimore, Maryland; step-mother, Louise Watkins; two (2) aunts, Carolyn of Pensacola, Florida and Veronica of Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Frances C. Jenkins and Raymond Watkins; his son, Andrew Allen; his step-son, Frederick Curtis; his sister, Sharon Watkins; his son-in-law, Reginald Dixon.
