Milton Thompkins, 61, was born on March 31, 1960, and went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2021. Milton was the son of the late JD and Versie Lee Thompkins and was the middle child of their five kids. Milton is survived by his wife of 28 years, Charlena Thompkins, and his children: Jeremy, Destin, Mary Bianca, Milton Jr., Mya Nichelle, and Mariah Nicole, and three grandchildren: Denerion, Joanna Lynn and Amelia Marie. He was preceded in death by his sister Versie Dean and brother Pettus and survived by his sisters, Veronica, Anito, Sheila, and Dana, and brothers, Scott and Mark. In addition, he leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews: William, Marcus, Charles, Asha, Jordon, Justin, Jordan, Austin, Christian, Ryan, Sierra, and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and cousins.
Milton started off doing tree services at Keheay Clearing Company, followed by Asplundh, and ended with Buford. He was a magician at laying the tree down precisely where it needed to be. Milton had many talents. There was nothing that he could not do. He also was fearless and the neighborhood superhero.
Milton enjoyed the outdoors. Whether it was fishing, hunting, gardening, building, or repairing things, you could find him enjoying life by working or helping others. He was known as "Bull" to his closest friends.
