Mary Ann Knott-Easley, a life-long resident of Yantley, Alabama, was born to the late Lincoln Knott and Carrie Mae Knott-Johnson on October 16, 1951.
At an early age, she professed her faith and united with the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a dedicated member until her health weakened. Mary’s favorite part of church was Sunday school.
Mary was educated in the Choctaw County School System and graduated from Choctaw County Training School.
On May 18, 2020, Mary Ann answered her call for eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Easley and three siblings, Lincoln Knott, Jr., Margaret Ann Knott and James A. Johnson.
To cherish her memory, she leaves three children: Valerie D. Pearson of Tuscaloosa, AL, Byron (Jodi) Knott of Aurora, Colorado, and John (Renee) Knott of Charlotte, North Carolina, six grandchildren, three brothers; Eddie Johnson, Jr. of Yantley, Alabama, Victor Johnson of Yantley, Alabama, and Anthony Steven Johnson of Aurora, Colorado, six aunts; three devoted, Beatrice Pearson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Ada Louise (Charles) Crenshaw of Toney, Alabama, and Essie Mae Harrison of Yantley, Alabama, one devoted uncle; William Henry (Gladys) Harrison of Montgomery, Alabama, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
