Lonnie Jermaine O'Field

Lonnie Jermaine O’Field was born May 5, 1981 to the late Lonnie O’Field and Clora McRae O’Field in Meridian, Mississippi.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Yantley, Alabama.  Lonnie was a 1999 graduate of Choctaw County High School in Butler, Alabama.

To know him was to love him.  It was never a dull moment with him.  He would call you just to say, “I love you” (most of the time being funny), but he always meant it.  He showed love to everyone he came in contact with.  He was a very hard worker and loved what he did.

The life of Lonnie Jermaine O’Field ended on May 2, 2021 in Duncan, South Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie O’Field.

He leaves to cherish a loving mother, Clora McRae O’Field, of Jachin, Alabama; three children, Jamya Patrick of Mobile, Alabama, Amonaraye Kelly and Michael Orange, both of Jachin, Alabama; two sisters, LaToya Smith of Jachin, Alabama and Tamara Dubose of Mobile, Alabama; one brother, Cass Fitch of St. Louis, Missouri; a truly loving and devoted grandmother, Georgia McRae of Yantley, Alabama; a devoted god-sister, Doretha Fitch of New York, New York; two nephews, Trey Smith and Quon Smith, both of  Jachin, Alabama; one niece: Sasha Smith of Jachin, Alabama, whom he help reared; a special niece, Shakela Wright; a devoted friend, Terrell Holland; devoted god-parents, Jesse and Betty Holland; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
