Freddie Eugene Ford, Sr.

Chief Apostle Freddie Eugene Ford, Sr. was born September 30, 1938 to the late Hillard and Gennie Ford in Whynot, MS.

He got saved at an early age, under the leadership of Mother E. Tate, pastor of the Congregational Church, Yantley, AL, which later became The Holiness Church of God of the Apostolic Faith, under the leadership of Bishop W.T. Traylor.

On May 30, 1958, he answered the call to ministry.  On August 31, 1958, he was licensed to preach.  He worked as assistant pastor and pastor in the Holiness Church of God of the Apostolic Faith, until God laid on his heart to organize the Alpha & Omega Holiness Church of God of the Apostolic Faith on August 17, 1974.  He was the founder and establisher.

On November 26, 2006, he married Annie Mae Causey Washam.  

Chief Apostle Freddie Eugene Ford, Sr. was preceded in death by his mother, Gennie Ford; father, Hillard Ford; 3 brothers, Willie James Ford, Elem Ford and Wydell Ford.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Annie Mae Washam Ford of Yantley, Alabama; 3 sons, Freddie, Jr. (Sarah) Ford of Meridian, Mississippi; Elgene (Ruby) Ford of Meridian, Mississippi; Willie Ray (Brenda) Ford of Yantley, Alabama; 3 daughters, Dorothy Ann (Bishop Willie J.) Eakin of Toomsuba, Mississippi; Patricia Ann (Samuel) Reed of Toomsuba, Mississippi; Fredia Diana (Elder Charlie) Mitchell of Yantley, Alabama; 4 stepsons, Christopher M. (Kanise) Causey of Montgomery, Alabama; LaAnthony J. Causey of Tampa, Florida; Lucius M. Causey of Menifee, California; Detric D. (Angelina) Causey of Toxey, Alabama; 1 sister, Mary Florence Ford of Fort Worth, Texas; 1 brother-in-law, McKinley Causey; 1 sister-in-law, Annie Bell (James) Philon; 24 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church members.
