Cynthia Roberts was born in Meridian, Mississippi on October 10, 1953 to the late Theado and Edna G. Roberts. She departed this life December 2, 2020.
Cynthia was married to the late Thomas S. Watters and to their union, a daughter was born. Little Miss Marcia Watters gained her angelic wings as an infant. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hubert and Willie Roberts.
Cynthia confessed Christ at an early age and joined Little Hope Baptist Church. She was a dedicated member and worker in the church. She served on many church committees and always gave her best in whatever task she endeavored. Cynthia was also a member of Ezell Chapter #380 Order of Eastern Star.
She retired from the Georgia Pacific Corporation after 27 years of service.
Cynthia was a loving and caring sister. She was also godmother to three of her nephews (Flo’s three sons). She was like a second mom to them, assisting Flo with training them to love and serve the Lord. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, playing the piano and reading.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted sister, Flocella Hunter, Lisman, AL; three loving and dedicated nephews whom she was godmother: Corey (Nakita) Hunter, Atlanta, GA, Ryan Jason Hunter, Lisman, AL and Damien (Brittany) Hunter, Cleveland, OH. She also leaves to cherish her memory, three brothers: Jerry (Connie) Roberts, Akron, OH; Theadore (Tina) Roberts, Troy, MI and Bruce (Erma) Roberts, Huntsville, AL; One god-brother: Earnest L. (Kathy) Levy, Lavaca, AL; two sisters-in-law: Martha Roberts, Huntsville, AL and Lucy Roberts, Miamisburg, OH; two aunts: Doris Thomas and Emma Geron, Mobile, AL; five nieces, a total of seven nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
