Alfred Lawrence was born on December 21, 1951 to the late Lamar C. Glenn, Sr. and Annie Ruth Glenn.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Little Hope Baptist Church.
Alfred worked for Georgia Pacific for 32 years until his retirement. He was a graduate of Choctaw County Training School, Class of 1970.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 46 years, Catherine Glenn of Yantley, Alabama; children, Jeremie (Robin) Glenn of Columbus, Ohio; Sabrina Pearson of Tennessee; seven (7) grandchildren; his siblings, Eddie Carl (Roxanne) Glenn of Columbus, Ohio; Lavelle (Herman) Gaines of Butler, Alabama; Robert (Gloria) Glenn of Lisman, Alabama; Michael Glenn of Columbus, Ohio; a special sister-in-law, Wanda Glenn of Columbus, Ohio; mother-in-law, Velma Townsend of Yantley, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and co-workers.
He also leaves to cherish his loving memories: his community and his Neighborhood Watch Family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar Sr. and Annie Ruth Glenn; brother, Lamar Glenn, Jr.; sister, Teresa Glenn; father-in-law, Robert Townsend; brothers-in-law, Willie and Lonnie Townsend, Sr.
