Edward Nicholson

Edward “Cowboy” Nicholson was born to the late Coley and Willie Mae Bonner – Nicholson of Needham, AL. on August 30, 1945. The final chapter of his life was closed on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Clifford Nicholson, one sister Mary Nicholson, and two sons Anthony Kirksey, and Edward Kirksey.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  children, Bernadette (Jessie) Prestage, Angela Kirksey, of Needham, AL. One son Brian Philon of Silas, AL. One step-daughter Teresa Philon of Silas, AL. Four sisters Willie Morris (Lawrence) Wynn, Needham, AL. Rosetta Nicholson of Butler, AL. Rosie Lee (Bob) Burroughs of Womack Hill, AL. and Faye (Kelly) Parker of Shubuta, MS. Two brothers:  Lindsey ( Francis) Nicholson, and Leron (Maggie) Nicholson both of Needham, AL. Fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. A special Aunt Ms. Mattie Grant of New Jersey. Two special friends Sharon Parker and Brad Anderson.
