Jessie Mae Spraggins

Sister Jessie Mae Spraggins entered into this life on October 6, 1922 and departed this life to be with her Lord on Thursday, 23 November, 2017.  Sister Jessie Mae accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and united with Shiloh C.M.E. Church, Cromwell, Alabama.  There she served on the Missionary Board faithfully until her health failed. 

Jessie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Spraggins (T.J.); parents:   George and Laura Ezell; four brothers: Ulysses Simpson Ezell, Luther Ezell, Xavier Louis Ezell, Artis Ezell; three sisters:  Lorena Ezell Moody, Creola Ezell Bryant, Argusta Ezell Fitch.   

She leaves to mourn her passing: one son: Bernard Spraggins, Ann Arbor, MI; one daughter:  Gloria Chaney, Jachin, AL; one sister:  Ethel Lee Ezell Duncan, Los Angeles, CA; one brother:  Willie Sanders, Daphne, AL; two grandsons:  Duwayne Ruffin, South Bend, IN; Kevin (Rendy) Chaney, Birmingham, AL; two great grandchildren:  Kiana and Jashawn; two great great-grandchildren:  Jashawn Jr., Jordan, Jeremiah and Ca’Lice;  Loving Caretaker:  Melissa Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
